And this is my second Compaq. My old Compaq is 5 years old and still running. This new one is also amazing. Can't believe it has 3gb of RAM and a dual processor, so it's fast. The graphics are good too. I managed to get it to play Modern warfare 1 on low graphics settings. The 15" inch screen is really great for games and watching DVDs. The keys are a little wobelly, but they're good sized so it doesn't really matter. The speakers are also better than most laptop speakers, they can get decently loud with good quality. The biggest con for me was the switch from XP to windows 7. I really liked XP and its user interface. But I'll get used to 7 soon enough. This 7 OS has some really cool things about that you can probably figure yourself.
